The parts list is organized by quantity and part type. Verify that all parts are present
by checking in the box provided as you locate the part in the list. You may wish to take this opportunity
to sort the parts into a compartmented container such as an egg carton or muffin tin as you
inventory them. This will aid in building the kit.
Capacitors
Capacitors may be marked in various ways. The typical markings are listed but may vary.
Find all that match and the remaining ones, if any, should become apparent by elimination.

Rain Gauge / EMP Parts
The parts for the rain gauge and EMP interfaces come with the X1W-1 Indoor Sensor/Interface
kit. If you bought the X1W-1 and have elected to install the EMP/Rain Gauge interface on this
board, the parts are listed below. These parts are packed in a separate bag. Do not mix them up
with any of the other parts.

Although there was an inventory in the X1W-1 kit, it is repeated here for convenience. Builders should note that the component labels are different here than on the X1W-1 (e.g., The DS2423 is U3 on this board, while it is U2 on the inside board).
Also take note that while the sockets are not listed here, they are in the bag. The sockets are not used on the outside board. The reason being that they will deteriorate very quickly when exposed to the elements. For reliable operation, the ICs must be directly soldered to the PC board. Do not use sockets!
