Our built-in shipping platform (Woo Shipping) now allows us to sell DHL and UPS shipping. We have been having issues with using USPS (the US Postal Service) to ship to other countries (like the whole world). Travel time is long, and package loss or miss-routing seems to be on the increase! This has caused problems for you, our customer, and for us. I have been able to send smallish packages by UPS to Canada and to Switzerland, easily, for about $25. And delivery is under a week, and the USPS is out of the equation.
If we are able to use DHL or UPS to ship your order, we will do so for international shipments. We are unable to use YOUR shipping account to make our shipments to you, however.
Also, we have activated ‘pay by PayPal’ in addition to the credit and debit card payments we have always accepted. This allows many country-specific payment methods, using that country’s banking system, to be easily used, such as iDeal in the Netherlands.
As always, TAPR never directly performs the credit card authorization, and we do NOT retain your credit/debit card details. It all happens using the payment processor’s mechanisms, external to the TAPR website.
