Joe Borovetz, WA5VMS, SK

Long-time keeper of the TAPR kit inventory, Joe Borovetz, WA5VMS, became a silent key in September after a short illness. Joe was the TAPR “parts guy” for many years and took care of an awful lot of the boring stuff that kept the kitting operation going. Joe was also very active in the TexNet packet radio network and was an member of the Muskogee (Oklahoma) Amateur Radio Club. He was also the go-to guy when you had questions about Motorola radio equipment. WA5VMS will be missed.
