The TAPR Forum will be held Friday from 9:20–10:30 AM in Room 4 (the agricultural building near the grandstand). Presentations include Dave Larsen, KV0S; Paul Elliot, WB6CXC; George Byrkit, K9TRV; and John Ackermann, N8UR. Topics will cover development of an SDR receiver for use with KA9Q radio software, along with antenna selection for WSPR daemon reception (including comparisons of N6GN SaS variants and the DXE RSEAV1).
Friday evening brings the AMSAT/TAPR Banquet, featuring after-dinner speaker Ray Roberge, WA1CYB, with an update on AMSAT’s SDR Gen2 project—its capabilities, current progress, and potential applications. The banquet will be held at the Kohler Presidential Banquet Center, about 20 minutes from the fairgrounds. Advance tickets are required and available through the AMSAT Store.
