The 15th annual AMSAT/TAPR Banquet on Hamvention Friday (May 17) at 18:30 EDT. This dinner is always a highlight of the TAPR (Tucson Amateur Packet Radio) and AMSAT (Radio Amateur Satellite Corp.) activities during the Hamvention. This year’s banquet speaker is Bill Reed, NX5R, AMSAT Volunteer Engineer, who will highlight the forthcoming PACSAT digital communications payload.
You must purchase tickets ($60 each) for the Banquet in advance and online at the AMSAT Store before the May 10 deadline. Tickets purchased on-line will be maintained on a list with check-in at the door at the banquet center.
