Description
This is the case for the GUS (GNSS Unfiltered Splitter), which is a four port coupler that allows multiple GNSS (GPS) receivers to be fed from one antenna. Unlike most available GNSS splitters, the GUS does not have bandpass filters. This allows it to be used on all of the GNSS frequency bands — L1, L2, and L5. In fact, it operates from under 1000 to over 1700 MHz. The GUS has a low noise amplifier that compensates for losses in the splitter, and gives a net gain of about 8 dB.
The GUS Assembly and Operation Manual is available here.
